Extraction here starts with a good intention. My mornings are clear and mindful and I love to start them by thanking for everything good in my life, followed by setting good intentions for the day. Once my mind is in a state of positivity, I start thinking about what kind of herb to seek. My house is surrounded by a large number of resident wild birds and sing in joy for me every morning, i let them guide me into the forest on my journey to find what i seek. The weather plays a crucial role in my quest. If sun rays shine on my face and warm air floats around me, the process becomes effortless and energetic. A dose of rain and cold winds can make the process more uncomfortable and draining, hence extra cautions with intention and mindset is required. It takes me longer to get in to the right mood, but the result is usually more potent as the effort was greater. In the forest i am guided, by experience, smell and visual clues. I feel a strong connection to nature, a deep satisfaction from being in it and working with it. Everything along the way will receive admiration from me and appreciation. Once i find the desired herb, i will only take 20% of the total population to ensure a sustainable growth. The conversation with the herb before harvest is a essential part and ensures that it was valued and respected before it donates is essence to the purpose of bringing someone else joy and happiness.
